FloraNL is a nationwide network, founded by and for florists, consisting of over 300 affiliated florists. The collective supports florists in the areas of automation, marketing, sustainability, and sales.

Through the online service system MijnFloraNL, FloraNL helps streamline order processes, order management, and digital invoicing. The platform not only serves as a solution that relieves individual florists of administrative burdens but also functions as a collaborative network that caters to business clients across the Netherlands with tailor-made deliveries of flowers and plants

The Challenge

FloraNL needed a more efficient and user-friendly online platform to streamline the ordering process for florists and their business clients. Previously, orders were processed manually, leading to errors, delays, and inefficient administrative handling. Additionally, there was no central solution to automatically direct orders to the correct florist, especially when the order fell outside the delivery area of the client.

The challenge was to create a platform that would connect all florists within the network, allowing orders to be processed easily and accurately. The system also needed to integrate with existing administrative software and point-of-sale systems, enabling florists to manage their entire business operations from one centralized environment.

Implementation of the IT solution

Innovine worked closely with FloraNL to develop a custom platform that meets the specific needs of the florist collective. The platform was designed with a strong focus on user-friendliness and scalability, making it easy to implement for over 300 affiliated florists.

The platform offers features such as automated order processing, digital invoicing, and integrations with popular accounting software like Twinfield, Snelstart, and Reeleezee. Innovine also integrated APIs for external connections, allowing the platform to seamlessly collaborate with other systems. The implementation was carried out in phases, ensuring a smooth transition and enabling florists to gradually digitize their processes without disrupting their daily operations.
